What are the opening hours of the Hand in Hand Early Learning Centre?

We are open from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

What age groups does the Hand in Hand Early Learning Centre cater to?

We provide care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, with separate rooms for each age group:

  • Fairies Room (0-2 years) – 16 children
  • Unicorns Room (2-3 years) – 20 children
  • Dragons Room (3-5 years) – 32 children
Do I have to pay a bond?

Hand in Hand does not take any bonds upon enrolment, however a non-refundable admin fee is processed for securing a child’s position.

What is the minimum number of days required for enrolment?

A minimum of 2 days per week is required for enrolments, and bookings must include either a Monday or Friday.

How does billing work?

Billing occurs weekly on Thursdays through direct debit, starting on the first Thursday after your child’s first day of attendance.

Does the centre provide meals?

Yes, we provide five nutritious meals daily, prepared by our onsite chef. Our meals adhere to the Munch and Move program, ensuring healthy and balanced nutrition for the children.

Is there an outdoor play area?

We have a large outdoor play area, and younger children will not be in the area when older children are playing to ensure safety and comfort.

Can we tour the centre before enroling?

We offer daily tours. Please note that your child must be present during the tour with you. Availability is not guaranteed and families may be required to join our waiting list post tour. 

What orientation options are available?

We provide up to 3 orientation sessions for each child, totalling one hour, with a parent present onsite.

What documentation is required for enrolment?

Before your child begins, we need a birth certificate, immunisation statement, and any necessary paperwork for medical conditions, allergies, or intolerances.

Has the South Wentworthville Centre been assessed under the National Quality Rating System (NQRS)?

Our South Wentworthville centre is new and has not yet been assessed under the NQRS.
