The Mermaids Room is alive with imagination, conversation, and connection.
For children aged 2 to 3 years, this stage is all about language, creativity, and learning to navigate friendships and emotions.
Through storytelling, art, role play, music, and group experiences, children build strong communication skills and emotional awareness. They learn to express ideas, solve problems, and collaborate with others in meaningful ways.
The room is thoughtfully designed with creative zones for art, sensory play, construction, and early literacy. Children are encouraged to explore independently and alongside peers, building confidence and social skills through shared experiences.
Educators support children as capable learners, guiding conversations, asking thoughtful questions, and helping children work through challenges. Strong relationships create a sense of belonging and confidence
Families are kept closely involved through regular updates, learning stories, and conversations about each child’s interests and development.
As children grow in confidence and independence, we support their transition into the Dragons Room with care and consistency.
