Start Strong Program
Overview:
Hand In Hand proudly participates in the NSW Government Start Strong Program, providing fee relief to eligible families for high-quality preschool education. This initiative ensures children receive at least 600 hours of play-based learning before school, building essential social, emotional, and cognitive skills for lifelong success.
Key Benefits:
- Fee relief of up to $2,563 per child (4-year-olds and above)
- Fee relief of up to $769 per child (3-year-olds)
- Designed to provide the greatest support to families experiencing vulnerability or disadvantage
- Encourages strong attendance and participation in early learning to help children transition confidently into school
4-Year-Olds
- 4-Year-Olds: Children who are 4 years old on or before 31 July 2026.
- 3-Year-Olds: Children who are 3 years old, but not yet 4, on or before 31 July 2026.
- To receive Start Strong fee relief, families will need to complete the 2026 Families Declaration Form and nominate Hand In Hand as their provider.
